Shaik is a highly accomplished Retail Buying professional with over 20 years of international experience across Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, and Australia. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for strategic buying, product sourcing, and category management, supported by extensive expertise in global procurement markets including China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and other key manufacturing hubs. His deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and retail trends has enabled him to successfully develop profitable product assortments and drive business growth across diverse retail environments.
Currently heading Retail Buying for Venus Bay Sourcing, Shaik leads the buying strategy for Australia and is a Co-Founder of Venus Bay Sourcing with Rupy. He works closely with operations leaders across global and regional offices to ensure seamless sourcing, procurement, and supply chain execution. He possesses strong expertise in seasonal trend forecasting, range planning, costing, supply chain management, and vendor development, enabling him to build effective supplier partnerships and deliver commercially successful product ranges specially for Australian Market. His ability to balance quality, cost, and market demand has made him a trusted leader in global retail buying and sourcing operations.
Head of Operations - India
Vadivel is an accomplished professional in garment manufacturing heading operations in India with over 15 years of experience in the apparel manufacturing industry. He leads a workforce of more than 500 employees and oversees a production capacity of 200,000 garment units per month. With strong expertise in production management, process optimization, quality assurance, and team leadership, he has consistently driven operational excellence and delivered high-quality manufacturing solutions for global apparel markets.
He manages a state-of-the-art, vertically integrated manufacturing facility equipped with in-house printing, embroidery, dyeing, and sewing capabilities under one roof. His comprehensive understanding of end-to-end apparel production, combined with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction, enables streamlined operations, faster turnaround times, and superior product quality while maintaining high standards of productivity and compliance.
Operations Manager - Hong Kong & China
Richard is an experienced sourcing and operations professional with over 15 years of expertise managing manufacturing, merchandising, and supply chain operations across Hong Kong and China. As Operations Manager, he leads the regional operations, merchandising, and supply chain teams, ensuring seamless execution from product development through to production and delivery. His extensive experience working with factories across Guangzhou, Yiwu, Dongguan, and Ningbo has given him deep insight into the Chinese manufacturing landscape and supplier network.
Known for his strong industry relationships, hands-on leadership style, and practical problem-solving approach, Richard plays a critical role in delivering quality products, optimizing supply chain performance, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded. With over 20 years of distinguished experience in the apparel and fashion industry, Khadeer is a highly accomplished quality and operations professional known for his expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, he has worked with globally recognized brands including Ed Hardy, US Polo Assn., Flying Machine, Arrow, Excalibur, and ELLE, among others, consistently delivering exceptional standards in quality, manufacturing, and operational performance.
Khadeer possesses extensive knowledge of global quality systems and methodologies, including AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), along with deep expertise in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, process optimization, and continuous improvement. His ability to implement world-class quality standards has enabled organizations to enhance product integrity, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
Beyond quality management, Khadeer brings vast experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning & Control, Vendor Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, and End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management. Combining strong technical expertise with strategic business acumen, he has successfully driven operational excellence, productivity improvements, cost efficiencies, and sustainable growth across international markets.
